The Nebraska Alliance is a growing nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing Nebraska’s response to child abuse and neglect through the CAC model. We serve as the nationally accredited state chapter and membership organization for Child Advocacy Centers in Nebraska (CAC).
We strengthen the CACmodel approach by providing training, technical assistance, and capacity-building support; fostering statewide partnerships; and leading advocacy efforts that advance coordinated, trauma-informed responses for children and families.

Position Summary
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator leads clear, consistent, and engaging communications that connect Nebraska’s network of partners and strengthen the organization’s statewide brand. Reporting to the AssistantDirector of Operations, this role manages member-facing communications, digital marketing, and brand-aligned materials that support training, technicalassistance, and advocacy efforts.
This position translates complex initiatives into accessible messaging, ensures consistency across platforms, and supports a cohesive organizational voice. TheMarketing & CommunicationsCoordinator plays a key role in how CAC members, partners, and stakeholders experience, understand, and engage with the organization’s work.
HowYou’ll Contribute
Member Communications & Engagement
Develop, publish, and manage a weekly electronic newsletter for CAC members, ensuringtimely, relevant, and engaging content.
Coordinate internal and member-facing communications that support training, technicalassistance, advocacy efforts, and network updates.
Design and produce training flyers, digital graphics, and promotional materials for events, learning opportunities, and initiatives.
Collaborate with internal staff to ensure materials areaccurate, accessible, andaudience-appropriate.
Collaborate closely with the Executive Director to draft and edit communications related to legislative priorities, policy initiatives, and other high-level organizational messages.
Marketing & Brand Identity
Strengthen andmaintain the organization’s brand identity, including voice, messaging, and visual standards.
Ensure consistent branding across all materials, platforms, and communications.
Create and update marketing collateral that reflects organizational values and priorities.
Social Media & Digital Presence
Plan, create, and schedule content for organizational social media platforms, aligning posts with strategic goals and campaigns.
Monitor engagement and adapt content to improve reach and effectiveness.
Support storytelling that highlightsorganizational/collective impact, partnerships, and statewide initiatives.
Manage and update the organization’s websites, including page creation, content updates, and visual enhancements.
Ensure website content is current, user-friendly, and aligned with branding and communication goals.

WhatWe’re Looking For
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, ora related field.
Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education, particularly experiencein communications, marketing, or digital engagement in a nonprofit or mission-driven setting.
Lived experience is valued and recognized as a meaningful form ofexpertise that strengthens systems, relationships, and outcomes when paired with professional skills.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
Experience managing newsletters, websites, and social media platforms.
Comfort working with digital tools such as Microsoft Office, email marketing platforms, content management systems, and basic design tools.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Comfort working independently whileremaining deeply collaborative.
Understanding of professional ethics, confidentiality, and boundaries.
Additional Requirements
Rareevening or weekend availability for events or time-sensitive communications.
Willingness tosubmit to a criminal history background check, sex offender registry check, and child abuse and neglect registry check.

Compensation
This position has a salary range of $57,000–$63,000, with starting pay based on relevant experience, skills, and internal equity.
