The Sr. Director of Cloud Engineering & Support oversees and coordinates the support and delivery of highly available IT services (WAN, LAN, Cloud, Help Desk, Desktop Support, Server Administration) and software engineering development. The role involves managing budgets, staff, IT vendors, and infrastructure projects, while maintaining a player/coach mentality with a focus on customer service and IT transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain high availability systems; oversee cloud-based infrastructure and internal systems.
  
• Manage and mentor a staff of 5 contributors; develop IT vision, strategy, and infrastructure budgets.
  
• Manage the Help Desk, customer service SLAs, and unified communication tools (Teams Voice, Chat, Video).
  
• Plan and execute threat assessments, vulnerability management, and audit/compliance standards (NIST, PCI, HIPAA, etc.).
  
• Oversee IT projects, software/hardware rollouts, and disaster recovery/business continuity practices.
  
• Develop collaborative relationships with business leaders to drive IT transformation and optimize production environments.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of relevant work experience; proven ability to lead critical projects.
  
• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
  
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud technologies (network, server, storage, security, databases), WAN/LAN management, ITIL, SDLC, and DevOps.
  
• CISSP, CISM, or CCSP certification required.
  
• Azure DevOps or Security certification preferred; experience implementing compliance programs (PCI, NIST, HITRUST, or HIPAA) a plus.
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; high customer service focus; ability to lead and coach staff.
