Remote, Position Summary  

The Marketing, Design & Association Support Coordinator provides behind-the-scenes creative, database, communications, and administrative support to NASPA's association management team. This role is primarily an internal production and coordination position. The ideal candidate combines strong visual design skills with accuracy, organization, sound judgment, and a working understanding of association operations.  This is a part-time position with estimated an estimated 20-25 hours per week.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create polished digital and print materials including social graphics, flyers, newsletters, presentations, event signage, programs, and other branded assets using Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud.

• Execute approved communications plans by building and scheduling email campaigns, newsletters, social media content, and routine website or event-page updates.

• Maintain brand consistency, organized design files, reusable templates, image libraries, and production-ready assets across multiple association accounts.

• Maintain accurate membership, contact, registration, and communication records; process updates, renewals, and list changes; run reports; and support data cleanup and quality control.

• Provide administrative support for meetings, events, membership programs, boards, and committees, including registration tasks, agendas, presentation materials, surveys, follow-up communications, and shared-file organization.

• Support internal project tracking, deadlines, documentation, basic performance reporting, and other team deliverables while managing multiple priorities in a remote environment.

• Collaborate closely with association managers to receive assignments, clarify requirements, incorporate feedback, and deliver accurate work on schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrated experience in graphic design, marketing communications, administrative support, association management, nonprofit operations, or a related field.

• Strong proficiency in Canva and working proficiency in Acrobat, and/or Photoshop.

• Experience with email marketing, content management, and database/CRM tools; familiarity with association management systems (AMS) is strongly preferred.

• General knowledge of association functions such as membership, governance, meetings/events, sponsorship, and member communications.

• Excellent attention to detail, visual judgment, written communication, file-management, time-management, and quality-control skills.

• Ability to work independently, protect confidential information, shift among competing deadlines, and respond constructively to feedback.
